Man dies in Market Street shooting

A man shot early Saturday on Market Street in downtown San Francisco died after being taken to the hospital in critical condition, San Francisco police said. Officers responded around 1 a.m. near the 900 block of Market Street. Police have not released the man's name or announced an arrest.
